One of our fondest memories of going to Disneyland and Disney World as kids were the smells and of course eating the delicious food. There is a fun little restaurant in Disney World called Liberty Tree Tavern. It is located in the Magic Kindgom. They used to serve a delicious dessert called Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake. It’s crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. We topped it off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some caramel and chocolate drizzle. Additional toffee bits takes this dessert over the top.
I’ve slightly adapted my Greek Halva recipe which is a dairy free pudding, in this to include lots of crushed walnuts which I think adds a little extra texture and flavour to the Greek Halva and besides the crunch this is also a dairy free pudding which is great!
Espresso Glazed Cinnamon Rolls are a decadently comforting breakfast! Why not have your coffee and roll all in one? Say hello to my little friend, The Godfather Cocktail. Certain booze lends themselves to certain situations. I drink rum when I want to celebrate, wine when I want to relax, and whiskey (The Godfather) when I’ve packed and moved my apartment in less than a week and my entire body hurts.
This easy Lemon Strawberry Dutch Baby with Ricotta Cream is the perfect extra light and airy summer treat. A Dutch baby is essentially a giant pancake, or maybe popover is a better description, that’s baked in a skillet. It’s hinted throughout with vanilla and sweet lemon and topped with delicious lemon macerated strawberries and ricotta cream. Each and every bite is full of bright summer flavor…it is SO GOOD! Enjoy for breakfast or brunch, topped with a light pat of butter, a dusting of lemon sugar, and a drizzle of maple syrup…mouth-watering.
