Ingredients
- 4 cups soda such as 7UP
- 10 cups seedless watermelon cubes Note 1
- ¼ cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup (240ml) peppermint schnapps optional
Instructions
- Pour 2 cups of soda into ice cube trays. Freeze. (This's optional, but I love it better than plain ice cubes.)
- In a blender, blend 1 cup of seedless watermelon cubes and fresh mint leaves until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mash sieve. This is an optional step, but some people don't like mint pieces in the drink.
- Pour the strained minty watermelon juice back into the blender and add remaining watermelon. Blend until smooth.
- To serve, pour the mint watermelon juice in a large pitcher with prepared ice cubes. Add the remaining soda and serve!
- If desired, add peppermint schnapps and garnish with mint leaves.
