Minty watermelon fizz

Minty watermelon fizz
Crisp, clean and refreshing, this minty watermelon fizz is just the perfect party drink for all occasions. And it’s ridiculously easy to make!
Author:
Ingredients
  • 4 cups soda such as 7UP
  • 10 cups seedless watermelon cubes Note 1
  • ¼ cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup (240ml) peppermint schnapps optional
Instructions
  1. Pour 2 cups of soda into ice cube trays. Freeze. (This's optional, but I love it better than plain ice cubes.)
  2. In a blender, blend 1 cup of seedless watermelon cubes and fresh mint leaves until smooth.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mash sieve. This is an optional step, but some people don't like mint pieces in the drink.
  4. Pour the strained minty watermelon juice back into the blender and add remaining watermelon. Blend until smooth.
  5. To serve, pour the mint watermelon juice in a large pitcher with prepared ice cubes. Add the remaining soda and serve!
  6. If desired, add peppermint schnapps and garnish with mint leaves.
