  • 20 button mushrooms, stems removed
  • block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. Cheddar, shredded
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, minced (seeded if you prefer less heat)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Chopped fresh chives, for garnish
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, jalapeño, and garlic and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Stuff mushrooms with mixture and transfer to a baking dish or sheet.
  3. Bake until mushrooms are cooked and mixture warmed through, 25 minutes.
  4. Garnish with chives.
