Antipasto Sushi

This "sushi" leaves lots of room for improvisation. Not a fan of provolone? Use mozzarella instead.
Ingredients
  • FOR SPREAD
  • 3 oz. cream cheese cream cheese, softened
  • 2 pepperoncini peppers, minced
  • 1 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. oregano dried oregano
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • FOR "SUSHI":
  • 4 slices ham
  • 8 slices provolone
  • 8 slices salami
  • 8 basil leaves
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 3 leaves romaine, shredded
Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, pepperoncini, mayo, vinegar, garlic powder, and oregano. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. To make one roll, spread cream cheese mixture onto one slice ham, then top with two slices provolone, two slices salami, and two leaves basil. Place a few slices of red pepper and a small handful of lettuce down the center, roll slightly, and cut into 3 pieces. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  3. Serve immediately.
